What is ESD Tape?
ESD tapes are designed for use where electrostatic discharge is a concern. Our anti-static tapes includes ESD safe clear cellulose tape with a rapid charge decay, transparent OPP film tape that generates extremely low charge levels when it is unwound or removed from most surfaces. Some are even printed with ESD-safe markings to more readily identify the presence of static-sensitive materials.
Our ESD tape is a OPP film that has been coated with an anti-static water-based acrylic adhesive. The adhesive has been highly loaded with conductive particles in order to achieve the maximum static dissipation.
